Climbing Snowdon

In July 2023, our former beneficiary Samraj Singh – now a social worker – climbed Snowdon to support the Fund. His hike raised £515.  Born in England and educated in India and the UK, Samraj lost both his parents in his teens, returned to England and went into foster care. He was involved both in the setting up of Birmingham’s Corporate Parenting Pledge and the Young People’s Parliament. The Fund supported him through a 2-year MA in Social Work at the University of Sheffield. He is now working as a Social Worker in Vancouver, Canada.
